The conventions of music video's are:

  • Mid shots of the artists
  • Different Locations
  • Extreme close up of props for example, microphones, instruments
  • Quick cuts
  • Long shots of mise en scene i.e cars, expensive houses
  • Lip syncing
  • A variety of costumes
